PONTIAC, MI – Two little boys went missing on Friday February 16th, 2018, while their father and his girlfriend were involved in an argument.

At approximately 8:00om, Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an address in the 100 block of Mechanic Street on a report of two missing children.

Upon arrival Deputies spoke with the children’s father who told the officers that his two sons not been seen since approximately 1:30pm. He stated during an argument with his girlfriend, he told the two children, ages 10 and 8-years-old, to go outside and play in the park next door.

The father looked outside about a half later and he did not see the boys but did not immediately call 911 because he thought they might be at a friend’s house. The father eventually called 911 when the children did not return home.

Deputies and a K9 conducted a search of the area but were not able to locate the boys and Detectives were notified to respond.

Deputies subsequently located the two children at their grandmother’s home on W. Beverly. The two boys had been at their grandmother’s home since approximately 2:00pm.

The children were left in the custody of the Grandmother and Children’s Protective Services were notified and an investigation continues.
