DPD seeks information concerning shooting in 300 block of Chalmers [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection of a critical shooting that occurred on the city’s eastside.

On February 19, 2018, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the 48 year old male victim entered a gray Ford F-150 pick-up truck that was parked in a driveway located in the 300 block of Chalmers. Surveillance video shows the suspect pull up, exit, then approach the victim and fire several shots, critically wounding him. The suspect then returns to his vehicle and escapes southbound on Chalmers.

Suspect described as a black male, 35-40, dark complexion, 5’-7”, thin build, wearing gray hooded jacket and blue jeans. He was driving a black Chevy Suburban with duct tape on the driver’s side view mirror, tinted windows, temp sticker in the rear window and one brake light out.
