MSP to be watchful on roads during NCAA March Madness Tournament

MONROE, MI – During the upcoming NCAA March Madness Tournament festivities, the Michigan State Police (MSP) Monroe post is reminding motorists to make safe driving choices.MSP Cruiser

This weekend, MSP will have dedicated patrols focused on the three main causes of highway fatalities: aggressive driving, impaired driving and failure to use occupant restraints.

Everyone is encouraged to enjoy spending time celebrating with friends and family, but they would like to remind motorists to plan ahead and designate a sober driver. Troopers are taking a zero tolerance approach to those who choose to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
