Macomb County Sheriff continues to investigate threat made to Mt. Clemens High School

MOUNT CLEMENS, MI – On Friday March 23rd, 2018, at approximately 10:00am, Macomb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Mt. Clemens High School for a threats complaint. School officials stated that a threat to “shoot up” the school had been reported.Mount Clemens High School

After a physical assault between students yesterday, March 22nd, a student on the school bus made a threat to “shoot up” the school. Today, a second threat was reported to have been made via social media regarding the same incident. None of the students involved reported to school this morning.

Mt. Clemens High School maintained normal operations until students were released early at 12:45PM.

Macomb County Sheriff’s detectives are still investigating.
