DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are actively looking for a missing 67-year-old man who suffers from Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder. DPD is asking that you share this information so he can be brought back home to safety.
George Wendell Martin was last seen by his brother-in-law at their home in the 2200 block of Field St on Wednesday March 21st, 2018, at approximately 9:30 p.m. George left the location and has not returned. George rides the DOT bus wherever he goes and also frequents the following locations: Detroit Public Library- Woodward Ave, Wayne State Library and Elmwood Cemetery.
George is described as a 67-year old man, 5’9, 185 lbs., light complexion, brown eyes, salt and pepper hair-long in length combed to the back, wears glasses and walks with a cane. He was last seen wearing a brown hoody sweater and blue jeans.
George is in good physical condition but suffers from Schizophrenia and Bipolar.
