MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI – The 31 year old male suspect from Texas remains in custody after a lengthy police pursuit through multiple jurisdictions in Macomb County.New Update

The Macomb County Sheriff Deputy involved in a collision during this incident remains in the hospital and is receiving treatment. The Deputy is expected to be released shortly. The Deputy’s name is not being released at this time.

The 31 year old male suspect out of Texas remains in custody at the Warren Police Department. The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office authorized three charges for the male this morning; one count of Police Officer – Fleeing – Third Degree – Vehicle Code (5 year felony), one count of Police officer – Fleeing – Second Degree – Penal Code (10 year felony), and one count of Failure To Stop At Scene Of Property Damage Accident (Attended Vehicle) (90 day misdemeanor).

The man will be formally arraigned on those charges tomorrow, Tuesday March 27th, 2018, in the 41-A Shelby Township District Court.
