Detroit Police want to Identify Two who Robbed Senior Citizen

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police need your assistance to identify two suspects who robbed a senior citizen.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspect’s wanted for a robbery that occurred on the city’s west side.

On March 6, 2018 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., in the 20000 block of W. 7 Mile, the victim, a 77 year old female, was approached by a black male asking her if she would like to become a part of an investment group. The victim was then approached by a black female stating that she knew the victim from church. The victim finished pumping gas, got in her car when the female suspect entered the vehicle with her hand in her pocket. The female suspect instructed the victim drive to Bank of America at Oakman and Livernois, and instructed the victim to withdraw an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The victim was then told to drive to Evergreen and 7 Mile to meet the other suspect but the male never reappeared. The suspect then took the withdrawn cash from the victim and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured.

Suspect #1: Black, male, approximately 60 years old

Suspect #2: Black, female, approximately 45 years old
