DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department has issued a warrant for Blake Purvis for Impersonation of a Police Officer.
Detroit Police Detective Mike Pacteles said the warrant was entered into the system Friday, April 13th, 2018, but an arraignment date will not be known until Purvis is arrested.
Blake Purvis, 23-years-old, of River Rouge, has been charged previously in connection with impersonating a police officer after an investigation by MSP.
MSP detailed the events leading up to the arrest of Purvis. On Wednesday April 4th, 2018, the suspect, Blake Purvis, 23 years old, from River Rouge, was arrested on a 2-count misdemeanor warrant for LAW ENFORCEMENT EMBLEM/INSIGNIA/IDENTIFICATION – UNLAWFULLY WEARING/DISPLAYING 750.216B and MOTOR VEHICLES-USE/POSSESSION OF FLASHING LIGHTS 257.698.
Detroit Police are encouraging Blake Purvis to turn himself in to the Detroit Detention Center or any local police department.
According to Pacteles, Purvis has a prior conviction out of Southgate for a similar offense.
