MADISON HEIGHTS, MI – On Tuesday April 24th, 2018, at approximately 11:07AM, MHPD took a “suspicious circumstances” police report.

The reporting party was a student at Bishop Foley High School and was accompanied at MHPD by a parent and representative from Bishop Foley High School.

The student described an incident involving a Bishop Foley priest that was described as inappropriate behavior.

The complaint is under investigation and the MHPD is working in conjunction with Bishop Foley High School to get additional information.

The school president of Bishop Foley High School has been removed due to that student complaint. Madison Heights Police are investigating the complaint made by the student regarding Gerry LeBouef, who also serves as pastor of Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Clawson.

LeBouef has been placed on administrative leave and is restricted from public ministry until the matter is fully resolved.

Monsignor Timothy Hogan has been appointed temporary administrator of Guardian Angels Parish. Kevin Kijewski will serve as interim president of Bishop Foley.

Information about the changes were found on their Facebook page.
