Detroit Police want to Identify and Locate Westside Armed Robbery Suspect

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect of an armed robbery of a business that occurred on the city’s west side.Armed Robbery Suspect

On April 17, 2018 at approximately 1:56 p.m., in the 18600 block of Fenkell, a suspect approached the cashier of a local business posing as a customer, then produced a black handgun and announced a robbery. The clerk complied with the suspects demands and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled from the location on foot in an unknown direction.

Suspect: Black, male, approximately 18-20 years old, 5’5”, approximately 150 lbs., clean shaved, wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, armed with a black handgun.
