DETROIT, MI – Two people were killed Saturday evening when an alleged drunk driver hit their vehicle on Puritan Avenue near Greenfield Rd

A video has surfaced on social media showing the accident scene shortly after two people were killed Saturday evening in a horrific crash that is believed to have been caused by a woman drunk behind the wheel of a Chrysler Town & Country van.

The victims were traveling west on Puritan Avenue at 10:06 p.m. when a Chrysler Town & Country van traveling south on Greenfield Road ran a red light and struck their Ford Escape.

The driver of the Ford Escape, a man in his 30s, and his 28-year-old passenger, April Holmes, were both killed.

Police said alcohol may be a factor in the crash. A Detroit woman has been identified and charged in connection with this horrific accident.

Keontae Edmondson posted the video to Facebook on Sunday afternoon May 6th, 2018. “This is the lady that killed the young lady last nite she was so blowed and when the police asked her date of Birth on God she said “L.I.T.T.L.E little ” paramedic looked at me like did you hear that shit I’m like smh”
