ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – A 63-year-old Waterford Township woman died following a single vehicle car crash on M-59 Tuesday afternoon.
On June 5th, 2018, at approximately 3:45PM, Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies responded along with the Rochester Hills Fire Department (RHFD) on a report of a single motor vehicle accident in the area of westbound M-59 and Adams Rd.
The driver of a 2015 Ford Fusion traveling westbound on M-59 left the roadway striking a traffic sign, and entering a ditch before the vehicle came to rest. Upon arrival the driver was found unresponsive and Paramedics from the RHFD began CPR and other life saving measures. The Deputies requested the assistance of the OCSO Crash Reconstruction Unit to assist with the investigation.
The 63-year-old woman was transported to McLaren-Oakland Hospital where she was subsequently pronounced deceased.
