CHESTERFIELD, MI – The Chesterfield Township Police Department is currently seeking any information that would assist in locating Nathaniel Bishop. Nathaniel was last seen at his residence on Friday May 25th, at 6:00pm.
A large scale search for Nathaniel will take place tomorrow, Saturday June 9th, 2018. He is listed as missing and endangered. Chesterfield Township police will conduct a search beginning around 8:00AM Saturday morning with a team comprised of law enforcement officers from multiple jurisdictions. Officers said the search area will cover both residential and wooded areas from 23 Mile Road to 26 Mile Road, both east and west of Gratiot Avenue.
“Although appreciated, at this time we are not asking for volunteer participation in the search effort,” police said in a statement.
He left his residence on his bicycle after an argument with his mother and has not been heard from since. It is believed he is carrying a black bag with additional clothing.
Chesterfield Township Investigators, and family and friends, have been actively searching the area and locations where Nathaniel was known to frequent, but have been unable to establish any form of contact with him.
Nathaniel Bishop is 15 years old, missing from the 52000 block of Vanburen in Chesterfield Township (24 Mile Road and Gratiot area). Nathaniel is 5?-7” and approximately 140-150lbs. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black shorts, and he was riding a gray mountain bike (picture attached / no longer has rear rack on it). Nathaniel may be carrying a black bag with additional clothing in it.
