WEIDMAN, MI – On Monday, July 16, 2018, at approximately 8:57 PM, troopers from the Michigan State Police Mt. Pleasant Post responded to a 911 call in Nottawa Township, for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.
The 911 caller indicated they had been robbed and during the robbery they were being held against their will in a different area of their store while individuals stole items from the store. After completing the robbery the subjects fled on foot and then in a vehicle.
The preliminary investigation shows no weapons were brandished during the crime.
State Police are asking for assistance from the public. If you were in a position to observe the area near the intersection of Beal City Road and Littlefield Road between the times of 8:45 PM and 9:15 PM and have information that may assist investigators in solving this case, please contact the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant Post at the number listed below.
The requested information certainly includes if you have a surveillance system in the general area of this crime and if you would be willing to allow investigators to view the cameras that may have captured video evidence that may assist investigators.
