Sterling Heights Police want to Identify Home Invasion Suspect [Video]

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – Sterling Heights Police are counting on the public to help them identify and locate a person wanted in connection with a home invasion.

On Monday June 9th 2018, at approximately 8:30PM, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 33000 block of Twickingham in Sterling Heights on a breaking and entering alarm.

Upon arrival it was discovered that the home had been broken into, and multiple items had been stolen. The suspect, through home surveillance video is described as a heavier set, light skinned black male. The suspect was wearing dark grey sweat pants with a light grey colored puma zip up jacket. The suspect is seen wearing a black mask over the lower part of his face, while having his jacket hood pulled up over his head.

The suspect is seen using a blue crow bar to force open the front door of the home while making entry. The suspect was seen by witnesses getting into a newer white 4 door sedan, and fleeing the area.
