PORT HURON TOWNSHIP, MI – Two people were injured in a crash in Port Huron Township Tuesday afternoon.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, a 60 year old Kenockee Township man was driving his 1996 Chevrolet pickup northbound on 32nd Street shortly after 2:00 p.m. He failed to stop at the intersection of Dove Road and struck a westbound 1997 Ford Taurus, driven by a 48 year old woman from Port Huron Township.
The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from his vehicle. After the collision, the Taurus ran off the road and struck a pair of parked vehicles.
Both drivers were transported by Tri-Hospital EMS to Lake Huron Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.
Port Huron Township Fire and Rescue also assisted at the scene of the crash.
