Detroit Police need Help to Solve West side Hit and Run [Video]

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police need the assistance of the community to help solve a hit and run that occurred on the west side of the city.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect and vehicle from a critical hit and run accident that occurred on the city’s west side.

On July 16, 2018 at approximately 10:42 p.m., officers from the Eighth Precinct responded to a police run regarding a hit and run pedestrian accident at W. 7 Mile and Appleton. The incident was captured on video from a Green light Location’s cameras. The suspect fled east on W. 7 Mile and drove through another Green Light Location then continued East on W. 7 Mile. The suspect was driving a white, 2010-2014 Kia, Sorrento with possible front end damage.
