Oakland County Sheriff looking for Armed Robbery Suspect [Video]

ROCHESTER, MI – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for assistance to identify and locate the person who robbed a Subway Restaurant on Sunday July 22nd, 2018, shortly before 8:00PM.

Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Subway located at 4834 Adams Road for an Armed Robbery that had just occurred. The clerk indicated that a black male entered the store wearing a construction style outfit and had a dust mask partially covering his face. The subject placed an order with the clerk for a sandwich. As the clerk began to prepare the sandwich, the subject produced a semi-auto handgun, racked it and demanded the money from the register.

The suspect than exited the store and fled on foot with the money from the cash register with approximately $200 cash, his Subway Sub sandwich and two cookies.

Deputies responded to the scene and established a perimeter. Two OCSO K-9 Units arrived on scene and conducted a K-9 track. The K-9 units tracked the suspect to the rear of the shopping center where it is believed that the subject had a vehicle waiting for him. The suspect was not located. Detectives arrived on scene. An Evidence Technician was requested to process the scene. Detectives are continuing with the investigation.

SUSPECT INFORMATION: Unidentified black male, approximately 30 years old, between 5’10- and 6’0 tall, wearing a red and white baseball style hat and an orange construction vest.
