MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI –  She was only 3-years-old and she is now dead. Her parents have been charged with her murder.

On Monday July 30th, 2018, Mt. Morris Township Police responded to the 4400 block of Elms Road concerning a child in distress. What they found was a child who would not survive from the abuse that she had endured allegedly at the hands of her own parents.

When EMS arrived they found the little girl, Emma Rose Bingaman barely clinging to life. Emma was immediately transported to an area hospital where she died not long after her arrival.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has charged 32-year-old George Bingaman and his wife 23-year-old Destiny Bingaman with:

The couple were taken into custody on Monday.  At that time, two other children, including an infant, were removed from the house when police arrived.

Prosecutor Layton said during press conference that the child’s body was underdeveloped, undernourished and was covered with bruises, gouges and bite marks.

George and Destiny Bingaman are both being held without bond.
