HARPER WOODS, MI – Michael P. McNabney, 40-years-old, of Lynn, MI, has been arraigned on charges in connection with a non-fatal crash that seriously injured a 53-year-old Harper Woods man during a Hit and Run accident.
On Thursday August 9th, 2018, at 3:07 p.m., it is alleged that Michael McNabney was driving his car at Harper and Bournemouth Streets when he struck the victim. It is further alleged that after he hit the victim he drove away from the area.
Harper Woods police were dispatched to the scene and called medics that transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
On August 10th, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., Michael McNabney turned himself in to Detroit authorities and was later taken into custody in Harper Woods.
Michael McNabney has been charged with: Failure to Stop at an Injury Accident. He was arraigned on Monday August 13th, 2018. He is being held on a $75,000 cash/surety bond. If released he must wear a GPS tether and undergo random drug testing. His next court date is set for August 22nd.
