Detroit Police want to Solve West side Smash and Grab [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an unknown Suspect wanted in connection with a breaking and entering of a local business on the city’s west side.

On Sunday August 5th, 2018, at approximately 5:50 a.m., in the 18700 block of W. Warren Avenue, an unknown suspect rammed an industrial truck through the rear wall of the local business. Once inside, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the cash register then fled the location north on Stahelin from Warren.

Prior to the incident, the suspect was seen at a nearby gas station. On August 6, 2018, the truck was recovered Whitlock and Southfield Road.
