DETROIT, MI – Another 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the murder of Detroit firefighter Jack Wiley Jr.
The teenager was arrested at about 2:20PM in the area of Rosa Parks and Blaine Street on Friday August 24th, 2018.
The investigation is ongoing and there is a possibility of further arrests. The first 18-year-old man was arrested on Thursday near the Southfield Freeway and Ford Road.
The motive for the murder of Jack Wiley has not yet been released. However, police feel confident that they have at least two of the main suspects in custody. It is believed that at least one of the suspects was acquainted with the victim.
Jack Wiley was found murdered inside his home Tuesday morning by his sister at about 9:15AM. That house is in the 15000 block of Penrod on Detroit’s west side.
