UTICA, MI – A grandfather who was attending his granddaughter’s first birthday was stabbed to death at Grant Park on September 1st, 2018, by a 22-year-old man allegedly on drugs.
Miguel Mansour, of Sterling Heights, has been formally charged in the stabbing death of Michael Shereda.
Michael Shereda was fatally stabbed after asking Miguel Mansour to stop doing drugs in front of kids at the park. Shereda approached Mansour who was on a bench who appeared to be doing drugs. Shereda asked him to stop and leave. That is when Miguel Mansour attacked the victim, stabbing him multiple times.
Mansour plead not guilty Tuesday to the first-degree murder charge that he is now facing.
Mansour is being held in Macomb County jail. His bail was denied.
