DETROIT, MI – A 20-year-old man was found dead in a vacant home early Wednesday morning on Detroit’s west side. He has been identified on social media as Dontae Truitt.
The murder took place at 9910 Evergreen Rd.
Police were dispatched to a call of shots fired. When police arrived, they found 20-year-old Dontae Truitt had been shot multiple times inside of a vacant house.
At 11:15PM on Wednesday evening, a BOLO was put out city and county wide for a named suspect that they are looking for in the murder of Dontae Truitt. Police describe the suspect only as a male wearing blue jean shorts and a white T-shirt. He drove a black Chevy Malibu. The suspect was last seen leaving the area north bound on Evergreen Road.
