Police Seek Assistance in Triple Shooting on Kensington Ave

DETROIT, MI – A suspect has been identified in the triple shooting that took place on Kensington Ave early this morning.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to a triple shooting that occurred on the city’s eastside.

On Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:56 a.m., the suspect entered a residence located in the 5200 block of Kensington went upstairs and fatally shot victim # 1, black female, 64. The suspect then shot a second victim, black female, 29 and a third victim, black male, 33. Both of those victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is known to drive a black 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 4×4 Pick-Up truck with extended cab and a Tonneau cover, MI/Plate # DSL-1817.

The suspect is identified as Cornelius Dennis, a Black male, 32-years-old, 5’-9”, 160 lbs. – 170 lbs. (HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS).
