Detroit Police Seeking Answers to East side Shooting of 16 yr old

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating suspects wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.shooting investigation

On October 2, 2018 at approximately 4:52 p.m. in the 11000 block of Lappin, a 16-year old male victim was leaving a vacant dwelling when a vehicle occupied by 4 individuals, approached him. There was an exchange of words, then gunfire. The victim suffered one gunshot wound and was conveyed by EMS to a nearby hospital where he is currently listed in temporary serious condition.

Suspects: 4 individuals each dressed in all black occupying a newer model white vehicle, possibly a Chrysler 200, Honda, or Nissan. The mini-van was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information regarding the shooting.
