ALGONAC, MI – The St. Clair County Drug Task Force wrapped up an investigation of sales of crystal methamphetamine in Algonac last night with 3 arrests and the seizure of more than $2500 worth of crystal meth.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, members of the Drug Task Force conducted surveillance of three suspected crystal meth dealers. Contact was with the suspects by the DTF in the area of Gratiot Road and Range Road in Marysville at about 7:00 Monday night. The three, a 44 year old man, and two women, ages 38 and 31, all from Algonac were arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center.
Once the three were placed in custody, a second team of DTF agents executed a search warrant at the man’s home in the 500 block of Henrietta Street in the city of Algonac. Once inside, they located and seized the crystal meth and cash.
The three suspects face charges including possession with intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine and destruction of evidence.
