Mecosta County Sheriff asks for Help to Identify Suspects

MECOSTA, MI – On Tuesday October 16th, 2018, at 5:00PM, Deputies from Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a retail theft complaint at Wal-Mart.

The investigation revealed that an unknown male subject stole a 55″ TV and Sound bar. After leaving the store the male subject got into a light green colored Jeep Liberty which was occupied by two unknown females. The vehicle then left the parking lot in a reckless manner almost striking multiple vehicles. The suspect’s were last seen traveling West on Perry Ave towards US 131.

Deputies are in need of assistance in identifying the three subjects involved in the theft. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects is urged to contact the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office, and ask for Deputy Tanner.

Photos of the male suspect and vehicle are attached. The male is described as a white man, approximately 6’2″, wearing a vest during the theft. The female driver of the vehicle was only described as a white woman with Brown hair.
