DPD Seeking Information on Non-Fatal Shooting of 15 yr old [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Thursday, October 25, 2018 at approximately 7:39 p.m., in the area of Promenade and Chalmers, a 15 year old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was traveling west bound on Promenade in a Gold, 1998, Buick, Park Avenue, when a blue pickup truck traveling north bound on Chalmers, blocked the victims vehicle from exiting the intersection. At that time an unknown suspect approached the victim’s vehicle from the rear and fired multiple shots into the vehicle, striking the victim. The unknown person then fled the location in an unknown direction.

The victim drove to a business in the 9000 block of Chalmers where police were called. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, and was listed in temporary serious condition.

Suspect /Shooter: Unknown male, armed.

Person of interest – unknown, driving a newer model blue pickup truck.
