Video Doorbell Captures Late Night Stranger Roaming Neighborhood [Video]

FRASER, MI – Residents in Fraser are being made aware this morning that a stranger is roaming around in a neighborhood near E 14 Mile Rd and Mazara Dr.Stranger Map

Video surveillance from a persons Ring Video Doorbell captured the stranger in the early morning hours of Monday October 29th, 2018, going to at least two houses in the very same area. It appears that the person was checking garbage cans for items.

Residents should always take precautions to safe guard their property by locking all doors and windows on their homes.

As the holiday season is fast approaching, you are reminded to never leave valuables in your vehicles where thieves can break into your car and then your items are long gone. Never leave these things lying out on your vehicles car seats, dashboard or floor of your car:

  • Phone
  • Purse or wallet
  • Laptop (or its bag)
  • A briefcase or backpack
  • Shopping bags
  • An MP3 player or other small electronics
  • CDs if you still use them
  • Cash – yes, even loose change/coins
  • Your keys – Yes this does happen more than you can imagine

If you see something suspicious taking place in your neighborhood, you should call 911 immediately or contact your local law enforcement to file a report.
