DETROIT, MI – An elderly 84-year-old woman on Detroit’s west side just wants the person who has shot up her home at least four known times to be caught and for her nightmare to end.
On Monday, November 5th, 2018, at 2:38 a.m., the suspect approached the residence located in the 2000 block of Clairmount and began firing several shots into the location. The 84 year old female victim, who was inside at the time of the incident, was not injured.
This has happened to the victim on several occasions. It is believed that the same suspect has committed these crimes. This was the 4th known attack on the woman’s home and she has no idea why the suspect keeps coming back.
The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a Person Of Interest (POI) who may have some information pertaining to multiple shots-fired incidents that occurred on the city’s west side.
In multiple incidents, shots were fired into homes on Clairmount Ave., Taylor St., and Pingree St. by an unknown suspect.
A video, that can be seen below the article, of the suspect was sent to the media on Monday. Investigators believe this suspect is also responsible for the shooting on Taylor and Pingree.
Investigators are seeking to locate a Person Of Interest who may have information pertaining to these incidents.
The Person Of Interest is described as being a white male, 51-years old, approximately 6’1’’, medium frame. He is known to be armed and open carry. He formerly resided in the area where the shootings occurred.
