Detroit Police Seeking Help Concerning West side Fatal Crash

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating occupants of a vehicle who may have information pertaining to a fatal accident that took place on the city’s west side.

On Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 9:30 pm in the area of Trumbull & W. Willis, a female victim was crossing the street when she was struck by a Red 2015 Toyota Prius. The Driver of the Prius pulled over and remained on scene until police arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

A second vehicle, a white sedan with defective passenger headlight, was seen leaving after the accident. Detroit Police needs assistance in locating the driver of this vehicle. Investigators believe this person may have information pertaining to this incident.
