MSP Patrol Car Sideswiped on Telegraph Road

TAYLOR, MI – On Friday November 16th, 2018, at 6:50PM, a trooper from the Metro South Post was on patrol on northbound Telegraph Rd near Eureka Rd.MSP Cruiser

The trooper was driving in the right center lane when her patrol car was sideswiped resulting in minor damage.

The other driver was changing lanes and didn’t see the patrol car already within the lane. The at fault driver was cited for: 1) Improper Lane Use and 2) No Proof of Insurance. Alcohol/Drugs were not believed to be a factor in the crash.

Also on Friday evening, at 9:52PM, a Metro North Trooper was patrolling on 34 Mile Rd near Van Dyke, in Bruce Twp, when a deer ran into the road and the trooper hit it. There were no injuries to the trooper. The blue goose is damaged but drivable.
