Thousands left without Power in Flint Area

FLINT, MI – Consumers Energy is reporting that over 5000 customers are without power in the Flint area. The cause of the problem is currently unknown.  However they are saying that they should have the problem solved by about 3:00AM.

First reported at 10:22PM by Consumers Energy on Sunday December 9th, 2018, a large swath from Stewart Avenue to the north, Martin Luther King Avenue to the east, Mott Park to the south, and reaching Interstate 75 to the west are without power.  There are also smaller pockets that have no electric.
