GAYLORD, MI – Johnathon Wenner of Gaylord was arrested following an investigation into a home invasion in Otsego County.
The incident began when Gaylord Troopers were sent to a Bagley Township home on October 31st, 2018. The homeowner had been away for several weeks and upon arriving home, they found several items missing from the residence. An investigation was launched and evidence connecting 36-year-old Wenner and a 14-year-old juvenile to the theft was obtained.
Upon completion of the investigation, the case was sent to the Otsego County Prosecutor for review. The prosecutor issued a two count felony warrant for Wenner that charged him with home invasion 2nd degree and Larceny of a Building.
Wenner was arrested by Gaylord troopers on December 20th and was lodged in the Otsego County Jail. He was arraigned in the 87th District Court that same day where he received a $200,000 bond. The juvenile in the case has been referred to probate court.
