BATTLE CREEK, MI – Travis Tudor, 34-years-old, of Battle Creek, was sentenced on charges and being convicted for sexual exploitation of a child.
Travis Tudor’s case was prosecuted federally by the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Michigan. He pleaded guilty in August and was sentenced Monday, Jan. 7, to a term of 27 years in federal prison.
The investigation was initiated following an investigation of a person who was posting ads on Craigslist soliciting images of child sexually abusive material. Investigation of the suspect’s identity led troopers to a male resident in Bedford Township. Examination of his mobile device yielded evidence that he was manufacturing and distributing images of child sexually abusive material.
Tudor has previous convictions for home invasion and unlawful driving away of vehicles, he could got up to life behind bars for the charges that he faced for possession of child sexually abusive material, including pictures that he had created and distributed.
