Armed and Dangerous Suspect Identified in Shooting of Saginaw Township Police Officer

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI – A suspect has been identified by Michigan State Police in the shooting of a Saginaw Township Police Officer.

Authorities are attempting to locate 29-year-old Joshua Michael Rosebush. He was driving a stolen Driving 2013 Ford Super duty. The truck was found abandon at the Home Depot located at 4380 W Corunna Rd in Flint Township. The stole vehicle has been recovered.

Rosebush is considered to be ARMED & DANGEROUS. He was last seen in the area of Corunna Rd. and Linden Rd. in Genesee County’s Flint Township at approximately 8:00AM this morning.

Based on records from the Michigan Department of Corrections, Joshua Rosebush has previous convictions for the following

  1. 2 counts of Public Officer – Assaulting or Obstructing
  2. 4 Counts of Financial Transaction Device- Stealing/Retaining w/o Consent
  3. Larceny From a Motor Vehicle
  4. 3 Counts of Breaking & Entering a Building With Intent

Rosebush is listed as an Absconder from Parole as of January 3rd, 2019.
