Detroit Police looking for Information on West side Assault

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are turning to the public to help them with information about an assault that took place in the area of Asbury Park and Diversey.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an assault that took place on the city’s westside.

On Friday, January 25, 2019 at approximately 3:00 p.m., a 63-year old male victim was operating an occupied school bus in the area of Asbury Park and Diversey. While operating the bus, the male victim pulled over and two adult suspects entered the vehicle. The two suspects assaulted the victim, striking him several times in the face and head, before fleeing. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics and treated for his injuries.
