DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to a double shooting that occurred on the city’s eastside.
On Saturday, January 19, 2019 at approximately 1:40 a.m., in 16000 block of East Warren, the suspect approached the two victims while they were at their red 2004 Dodge and fired shots, striking both victims. The 36 year old male victim was fatally wounded and the second victim, a 34 year old female was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Suspect described as a black male, 38 – 39, 5-8” – 5-’9”, slim build, bald, clean shaven, last seen wearing a light colored bulky coat.
Vehicle described as a dark colored, new model Chevy Malibu, or Impala.
