Flint Man Charged with 11 Felonies Related to Dog Fighting

FLINT, MI – A Flint man has been charged with eleven felony counts related to dog fighting.dog fighting

Landen James, 31-years-old, is charged with five counts of animal fighting, four counts of possessing dog fighting equipment, one count of animal torture, and one count of cruelty between four and ten animals.

The dog fighting activity was discovered by police when they went to a residence on Ruth Street in the City of Flint to serve subpoenas for an upcoming homicide trial.

James will be arraigned in 67th District Court and a probable cause conference will be scheduled.
