MARINE CITY, MI – A 32 year old Macomb Township man was arraigned on Sunday January 27th, 2019, in 72nd Court, in Marine City, after arranging on social media to meet an underage girl.
Albert Krakosky was charged with one count of enticing a minor under 16 for immoral purposes and one count of accosting children for immoral purposes.
The charges stem from an investigation by detectives from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office. A call was received from the father of a 13 year old St. Clair Township girl, who was concerned that his daughter had been sneaking out of the house to meet with Krakosky. Detectives received consent from the girl’s parents to assume her identity. They continued to communicate with Krakosky, who asked to pick up the girl in the early morning hours of January 25th in the vicinity of her home. Detectives set up surveillance in the area of the arranged pick up. Krakosky was observed driving through the area a short time later. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office stopped his vehicle and Krakosky was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center.
At his arraignment, Magistrate Susan Borovich ordered Krakosky held on a $30,000 cash/surety 10% bond. Krakosky posted the bond and was released from custody.
His next court date is a Probable Cause hearing on February 6th at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Michael Hulewicz.
