At 7:00AM the Elyria Police Department Narcotics Unit, Elyria Police Department Detective Bureau and Elyria Police Department Special Response Team executed simultaneous search warrants at an apartment in the 1800 block of Middle Avenue and at the Camelot Inn Motel located at 550 Griswold Road.

The search warrants led to the arrest of Corey Williams, 28-years-old, Edward Moran, 25-years-old and Damon Holden, 25-years-old, all of Detroit.

Corey Williams has been charged with possession and trafficking of heroin, possession and trafficking of Oxycodone and a misdemeanor count of obstructing official business.

The three suspects are accused of disguising Fentanyl as Oxycodone or Percocet, according to a press release. During the raid on both locations, detectives located pills which gave the appearance that they were either Oxycodone or Percocet but after being tested they indicated that they were actually Fentanyl. Fentanyl can be lethal on an unsuspecting user.

Detectives also discovered approximately $7,000 in cash between both of the locations.

The men are being held in the Lorain County Jail. They are scheduled to be arraigned at 9:00AM on February 14th, 2019.
