*** UPDATE: Shayla Sherman has been located and is safe ***
DETROIT, MI – Shayla Sherman was last by her mother on March 10, 2019 at approximately 8:00 p.m. in the 4200 block of Grayton Street. Shayala left home without permission and has not returned.
Her mother reported that a few hours after she left, Shayla’s sister observed a Snapchat post from Shayla indicating that she wanted to harm herself.
Shayla is described as a 14-year old black female, 5’4”, 150 lbs., medium brown complexion, two puffy afros. She was last seen wearing pink glasses, black Nike coat with a hood, blue jean with ripped patches, black boots. She has a burned scar on right forearm.
Shayla is in good physical condition but expressed that she wanted to harm herself.
