FERNDALE, MI – An argument between a man and a woman early Saturday morning in Ferndale lead to shots being fired by a CPL holder.
On Saturday March 16th, 2019, at approximately 2:15AM, Michigan State Police 911 received a call from a 32-year-old man that he and a 30-year-old woman had become involved in a fight on the 10300 block of Cloverdale in the Charter Township of Royal Oak.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a assault occurred between the caller and the female suspect with her being the main suspect. They separated and she got in her car when the male, a CPL holder, then fired at her vehicle as she was leaving. She ran from the vehicle unhurt.
The female suspect was located and lodged at the Oakland County Jail. The man ran from the scene and troopers are continuing to track him down. The damaged vehicle is being processed and the MSP K9 was able to locate the shell casings.
The investigation continues.
