GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI – Eric Scott Andrews Jr., 20-years-old, of Grand Blanc Township, was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence.
The investigation was initiated after Andrews was interviewed during an investigation concerning digital recording of coworkers. Eric Andrews is a former employee of the Tim Hortons Café and Bake Shop on Silver Lake Road in downtown Fenton. He was arrested for allegedly recording coworkers in the employee bathroom for two years. Andrews is alleged to have had recordings on electronic devices from 2016 to 2018, which is the time period when he worked at the restaurant.
Then Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force further investigated and charged Eric Andrews with two counts of child sexually abusive material, two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, four counts of capturing/distributing an image of an unclothed person and eight counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
Andrews was arraigned in 67th District Court today, Wednesday, March 20th.
