Lansing Murder Suspect Arrested in Mississippi

LANSING, MI – Wanted murder suspect Kyvon Deandre Wells has been arrested. Wells was arrested today Friday March 22nd, 2019 without incident in Gulfport, Mississippi by U.S. Marshals and the Gulfport Police.Kyvon Wells

Lansing Police Detectives worked with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Michigan State Police 1st District Fugitive Team to coordinate the arrest of Wells.

Kyvon Wells, 20-years-old, is being held in the Harrison County Jail awaiting extradition back to Michigan. Upon return to Michigan, Wells will be arraigned in 54-A District court.

24-year-old Delayno Hudson died after he and two others were shot inside of a car. Lansing Police Officers were called to the 1600 block of Doc Strongs Road on Friday March 1st, around 5:30 p.m., after a white sedan crashed into another vehicle. The men inside all had gunshot wounds. Delayno Hudson died two days later.
