Detroit Police Ask for Information concerning Critical Hit and Run Accident [Video]

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are hoping that you or someone you know can help them find the driver and the vehicle involved in a hit and run accident that left a man in critical condition.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect’s vehicle involved in a critical hit and run accident on the west side of Detroit.

On Tuesday, March 26th, 2019, at approximately 8:50 p.m., a 43-year-old man was riding a motorized mini bike traveling southbound on Schaefer Hwy approaching Grand River Ave., when he was struck by a dark colored vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the location traveling northbound on Grand River Ave. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition.

The suspect vehicle may have front end accident damage.
