Detroit Police have Photo but no Name for Murder Suspect

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying an unknown male suspect involved in a fatal shooting incident on the city’s east side.

On Friday April 19th, 2019, at approximately 1:30 p.m., in the 600 block of East St., a 23-year-old man was fatally shot by a male suspect in that area. The victim had a dispute with the suspect who fired shots striking him in the body. The victim exchanged gunshots with the suspect who then fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, who later succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male. No further description.
