PORT HURON, MI – The St. Clair County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the city of Port Huron Tuesday night that resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the Drug Task Force was conducting an investigation into the sales of crack cocaine in the Port Huron area.
The investigation led to an apartment in the 1000 block of 10th Street shortly before 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Once inside, DTF members located and seized crack cocaine, a digital scale and drug paraphernalia.
A 42-year-old Port Huron man was arrested at the home without incident and lodged in the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center. He is expected to be arraigned today in 72nd District Court on charges of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and being a habitual offender.
