REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI – On Tuesday May 14th, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM, MSP troopers were dispatched to I-96 and Telegraph Rd for a traffic crash.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a man driving a Chevy Malibu was driving at an excessive speed and rear ended a woman in a Ford Focus.
There was very little damage to either vehicle from the crash. The Chevy continued off the road to the right and struck the wall. Arriving troopers noticed that the male was not breathing had did not have a pulse.
Troopers broke a window and were able to get the man out and perform CPR. CPR was not effective. He was transported to Botsford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He has been identified as a 30 year old man from Farmington. His family has been notified. The investigation is continuing.
